“Slam!” my mom swung her bedroom door shut as my dad exited with his bags. My little sister and I sat at the kitchen table in silence. I think we both knew this day was coming, but for some reason we had been in denial.

I included my three ingredients for a good beginnning.

3. A HINT of what the story is going to be about.
