We have a great selection of books for the fall. I have read some wonderful young adult literature this summer and I want to share my findings. Foremost, if you haven’t read the final book in the Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay, by Suzanne Collins then you are missing a great read. It is quite the page turner and if you love Gale, Peeta, and Katniss then you will want to see how this love triangle ends and what happens to the Capitol. Does Katniss become the Mockingjay? Will Katniss pick Gale or Peeta? Are the people of Panem ever free from the President?
I have also read an array of genres recently and all of them have been very good books that I couldn’t put down. If you are looking for a little suspense & mystery then you should read Heist Society by Ally Carter. But if you are into fantasy and you love the Twilight series then you must read Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. I loved Shiver and it was a hard one for me to stop reading & go to bed. HA HA!!! It was really that good. Loved the ending.
However, if you enjoy a little more adult type book and one that will really make you think, then read Jodi Picoult’s House Rules. It is a book about a teenage boy with Asperger’s syndrome who is accused of murder. This book will definitely keep you interested until the very end and it provides some excellent insight into children and adults with this syndrome. I loved it!!
So come on in to the library and check out all our new books!!!
