Printmaking – MonoPrints

7th graders just finished creating some monoprints. They rolled the ink out on their desk after they had made a border with masking tape, then drew into the ink. After they were finished they took the tape off to provide nice clean edges. pressed paper down on the ink and lifted the print onto paper. It’s fun and easy. Some looked pretty cool. Here are a couple of photos of the process. Try it at home.
