Trey & Miranda – The Zoo Debate

TAKS testing: Is it great??
February 2nd, 2009 by mayjuAre you starting to hear the words “TAKS test” from your teachers more often? The state of Texas administers TAKS tests to all students beginning in grade 3. The tests are aimed to help schools make certain that the students are learning. Some people think these tests are a great idea; others think there might be a better way to tell if students are learning. Do you believe there is a better way, or is the current system the best? Tell how you would improve the way that the state makes sure that students are learning?
